Steel Waste Water Tanks Compared to Fiberglass
Steel tanks, since their inception, have been proved to be a material that can be compromised, structurally, unless extensive measures are taken. This has proved to be a significant drawback in all the applications they currently are being used in. Notice in the picture below what has occured, in just three years, with a steel tank, used to store waste water, in an oil field application. Notice how the bottom has been completely compromised in a relatively short time.
